About The Author!

Honestly, I was told to write a blog post introducing myself and talking about who I am MONTHS ago. I’m not sure why this seems to be the hardest part for me—but it is. You’d think after writing an entire book, this would be easy, right? But there’s something about summarizing yourself into a few paragraphs that feels almost impossible.

So, here’s my best shot.

My name is Caroline Wienecke. I’m a writer, speaker, consultant, and most importantly, a mom to the most incredible 7-year-old boy. He keeps me grounded, keeps me laughing, and reminds me every day why I do what I do. I run 4C Advisory Group, where I help nonprofits build meaningful relationships to increase fundraising and impact. I’ve spent years in the nonprofit world, and I recently had the honor of giving a TEDx talk about relationships in philanthropy—something I’m deeply passionate about.

Outside of work, you’ll probably find me walking, writing, or just being outside. There’s something about fresh air that resets my mind and helps me feel present. Whether it’s a long walk to clear my thoughts or sitting outside with my journal, that’s my happy place.

Writing Finding You was one of the hardest and most healing things I’ve ever done. It’s a story about trauma, resilience, and the journey to finding your voice—something I’ve had to learn firsthand. My hope is that through my book, my work, and my speaking, I can create space for others to feel seen, understood, and empowered.

So, if you’re here—whether you’ve followed my journey for a while or you’re just getting to know me—thank you. I’m grateful for every conversation, every connection, and every person who believes in the power of storytelling and community. I can’t wait to share more with you.
